The 5K/10K will be here SOON!!! I can't wait to see all of you on Sunday at Bonnie Park in Strongsville. We'll kick-off at 2pm. Please plan to arrive by 1:45pm.

Here are some things to know...
#1. Non-perishable food item... As part of Weight Watchers Lose for Good campaign, I'm asking each participant to bring a one food item to be donated to the Cleveland Foodbank. Let's see the food pile-up at the park!
#2. Bring water! You need to hydrate yourself before, during and after the walk. I will have some water available, but it's always best to be prepared.
#3. We'll walk RAIN OR SHINE!! Unless there are really bad thunderstorms/tornadoes, we'll continue with the 5K/10K! (I know some of you have trained in the rain too! Woo hoo!)
#4. Look for the signs and balloons! I'll have signs and balloons at the corner of Pearl Road and Albion Road/Valley Parkway, and at the entrance to Bonnie Park.
#5. Sign in and out! I will be asking everyone to sign in and out to keep a record of those who attended and to ensure that no one is left behind!
#6. Group Photo!!! I want to commemorate this GREAT event with a group photo before we start. We'll gather together and take one before the walk begins.
#7. Carpool, if you invited guests. I want to ensure there is plenty of parking.
#8. And, lastly... Be prepared to have FUN!!!
Don't forget... come and walk as much as you can. It's not a race. If you can't walk the entire 5K (3.1 miles), come and walk as much as you can!
I am so excited that you'll be joining me and all my wonderful WW friends on Sunday for the 5K/10K Walk. I'm so proud of each and every one of you for all the hard work you've done to prepare for this walk. It's going to be GREAT!!!
